New Year's Eve

When I think about New Year’s Eve my mind goes straight to the colour GOLD!! I don’t know why but it does...

So this is in my opinion the easiest and prettiest New Year’s Eve Nail Design and it matches with every outfit:

First as always prep your nails and put a base coat on

Then apply a golden colour (ACO - Vegas Gold)

As soon as the nails are completely dry you can either put on a golden or silver glitter polish (CATRICE - Two Million Dollar Baby)

This alone will already look great, but if you want to go the extra mile you can put the year 2014 on your nails!

Here is how I did it: Just slightly dap or draw the numbers on each nail with a black polish or any dark color (OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark)

If the numbers don’t look perfect or you don't want them to stand out too much you can always apply a glitter polish over it. Just make sure the polish you are using is not too pigmented or else you won’t be able to see the numbers.

Have fun with this design and have a happy New Year 2014!!

Snowmen

A fun design, perfect for the cold winter times :)

Start off with a base coat

Then paint your nails a dark blue colour

Now the snowflakes: Paint all your nails with a glitter polish, exept the ringfingers. I used two coats to get the desired effect

For the ringfinger, use a dotting tool or a brush to make two-touching points

As soon as it is completely dry take a black nail polish and make two or three dots for the buttons and two dots for the eyes

With an orange colour and a toothpick make the nose

I made the arms with the same colour I used for the eyes & buttons but I would not recommend it, you can barely see it on the dark blue colour...

Then as always finish off with a top coat

Strawberry

Not feeling like Christmas yet? I have the perfect Design to remember the last summer:

Let’s start with the base coat and two coats of a red colour

As soon as the red coat is completely dry we can draw the leaves with a green colour. Just paint tree ovals on the tip of the nails. They don’t have to be perfect, because they are not perfect in nature!

Now we can paint the points with a yellow, green or white colour (whichever you prefer). I used a dotting-tool but you can also use a toothpick.

To finish off, use a top coat to protect your polish and you’re done!
